A STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE AREA WILL DIVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE
ROCKIES SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL DRAG A COLD
FRONT THROUGH SOUTHEAST WYOMING SATURDAY EVENING. SNOW LEVELS WILL
INITIALLY BE AROUND 11000 FEET SATURDAY EVENING...BEFORE DESCENDING
TO 6000 FEET LATE SATURDAY NIGHT. AS A RESULT...RAIN ON SATURDAY
WILL CHANGE TO SNOW FROM NORTH TO SOUTH SATURDAY NIGHT...WITH
SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATION EXPECTED THROUGH SUNDAY. ALTHOUGH THE
EXACT STORM TRACK WILL UNDOUBTEDLY CHANGE...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR
MORE THAN 6 INCHES ABOVE 8000 FEET AND MORE THAN 4 INCHES BETWEEN
5000 FEET AND 8000 FEET. ELEVATIONS BELOW...PRIMARILY NORTH OF THE
NORTH PLATTE RIVER VALLEY IN EAST CENTRAL WYOMING MAY SEE UP TO A
COUPLE OF INCHES. AGAIN THESE ARE VERY PRELIMINARY PREDICTIONS...SO
PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR SUBSEQUENT UPDATES AS DETAILS BECOME MORE
CLEAR.

NORTHEAST WIND GUSTS OF 25 TO 35 MPH ON SUNDAY WILL PRODUCE
POCKETS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AS WELL. SNOW WILL DISSIPATE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL TURN SHARPLY
COLDER ON SUNDAY WITH HIGHS ONLY REACHING THE 30S MOST LOCATIONS.

MOTORISTS PLANNING TRAVEL OR OTHERS PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
ON SUNDAY MAY WANT ADJUST ACCORDINGLY AS COLD AND SNOWY WEATHER

WITH RAIN IN THE EVENING...THEN WILL TURN TO SNOW LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. AT THIS POINT...
GENERALLY 2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE PANHANDLE WITH
LOWEST AMOUNTS IN LOWER ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER
VALLEY...AND HIGHEST AMOUNTS NEAR THE PINE RIDGE. THESE ARE VERY
PRELIMINARY PREDICTIONS...SO PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR SUBSEQUENT
UPDATES AS DETAILS BECOME MORE CLEAR.
