...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON FOR
THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...

.PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE WESTERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST SNOW FELL
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...SPECIFICALLY SCOTTS BLUFF
AND MORRILL COUNTIES WHERE A FEW LOCATIONS RECEIVED A FOOT OF
SNOW. THE SNOW WILL END BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON. EVEN WITH THE SNOW
ENDING...AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW ARE EXPECTED OVER THE NEBRASKA
PANHANDLE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON WITH NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO 40
MPH. THE WINDS WILL DIMINISH LATER THIS AFTERNOON.

  INCHES...WITH A FEW LOCATIONS OF 12 TO 14 INCHES.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH.
  VISIBILITIES LESS THAN ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES IN FALLING AND
  BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES DUE TO SLICK AND SNOW COVERED
  ROADS. AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW MAY LIMIT VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN
  ONE HALF MILES AT TIMES.
