...AREAS OF SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS CONTINUING FOR THE NORTHERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE THIS MORNING...

.MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE PINE RIDGE IN
NORTHEASTERN DAWES COUNTY THROUGH MID MORNING BEFORE BEGINNING TO
DIMINISH. GUSTY WINDS...PARTICULARLY AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS...WILL
CAUSE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WHICH MAY CAUSE VERY
LOW VISIBILITIES LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE AT TIMES. TOTAL
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE LESS OVER MOST OF SIOUX AND BOX BUTTE
COUNTIES...HOWEVER OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS AND GUSTY WINDS WILL
MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS THROUGH THE MORNING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHEYENNE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 11 AM MST THIS MORNING. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
  LATE THIS MORNING...ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
  AMOUNTS OVER NORTHERN SIOUX COUNTY.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH.
  VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE AT TIMES IN
  FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL ACROSS THE NORTHERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE WILL BE
  HAZARDOUS FOR THE TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE. STRONG WINDS WILL
  CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW THAT WILL IMPACT ROADS
  THROUGH LATE THIS MORNING.

VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND

RANGES. ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO AFFECT THE AREA FROM
CHRISTMAS MORNING THROUGH THE DAY ON FRIDAY. SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE ONCE AGAIN.

  ELEVATIONS. NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY IN FALLING AND
  BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL ACROSS THE NORTHERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE WILL BE
  HAZARDOUS FOR THE TUESDAY MORNING. STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE
  AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW THAT WILL IMPACT ROADS
