TWO RECORDS DAILY WARM LOW TEMPERATURES WERE SET THIS JULY: A LOW OF 77 DEGREES ON THE 12TH TIED THE RECORD SET IN 2011 A LOW OF 79 DEGREES ON THE 13TH BROKE THE RECORD SET IN 1993 CLIMATE RECORDS HAVE BEEN KEPT AT RONALD REAGAN WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT SINCE AUGUST OF 1941. ADDITIONAL TEMPERATURE RECORDS FOR THE WASHINGTON DC AREA OBSERVED DOWNTOWN EXTEND BACK TO JANUARY OF 1872. PRECIPITATION RECORDS EXTEND BACK TO JANUARY OF 1871.
