ALTHOUGH THE MONTH OVERALL WAS QUITE COLD...THERE WAS ONE WARM DAY ON THE 8TH THAT TIED A RECORD DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 68 DEGREES SET ON THAT DATE IN 1900. A RECORD DAILY LOW TEMPERATURE OF 5 DEGREES WAS SET ON THE 20TH... BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 8 DEGREES SET IN 1896. THIS WAS THE FIRST RECORD COLD TEMPERATURE SET IN WASHINGTON DC SINCE A RECORD LOW MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS BROKEN ON JANUARY 22ND 2014.
