Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
Overnight Monday night into Tuesday morning, there will be a large
area of thunderstorms spreading into eastern Iowa and northeast
Missouri from the west. These storms are expected to bring strong
wind gusts, a very low risk for a tornado, and locally heavy
rainfall. The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a Slight Risk
(level 2 of 5) for severe storms over portions of northeast
Missouri and a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) to the east and
northeast.
The active weather pattern will continue through the middle of the
week. There is a Marginal Risk for severe storms across portions
of northwest Illinois on Tuesday and a Slight Risk across the far
southern portion of the outlook area on Wednesday.
