* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Leavenworth County in northeastern Kansas...
  Buchanan County in northwestern Missouri...
  Western Clinton County in northwestern Missouri...
  Platte County in west central Missouri...
  Southeastern Andrew County in northwestern Missouri...
  Southern DeKalb County in northwestern Missouri...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1038 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Weston,
  moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  St. Joseph, Leavenworth, Platte City, Weston, Gower, Maysville,
  Country Club, Stewartsville, Agency, Trimble, Edgerton, Dearborn,
  Camden Point, Clarksdale, Tracy, Farley, Easton, De Kalb, Cosby,
  and Ridgely.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 14 and 53.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 26 and 33.
 Interstate 229 between mile markers 0 and 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for northeastern
Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
northeastern Kansas...and northwestern and west central Missouri.
