...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE SOUTHERN
EDWARDS PLATEAU AND RIO GRANDE PLAINS...

The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a
Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is
in effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening.

* WINDS...Southeast 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly and
  exhibit resistance to control. Any outdoor activity that could
  produce flames or sparks is discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
