....Seven Counties Added to Growing Season in North Georgia...

The Frost and Freeze Program for north and central Georgia has
been expanded to include 7 additional counties in Northwest and
North Georgia...

Dade, Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray, Pickens and Dawson.

The program will continue through the growing season, which ends
no later than December 1.

These dates have been coordinated with our agricultural and
climate partners. Remember, a Freeze Warning is issued any time
the temperature is expected to drop to freezing or below for at
least two hours during the growing season, and a Frost Advisory is
issued whenever frost is expected during the growing season.
