...Very strong southwest winds for Northern Arizona Sunday through
Monday...

.A powerful cold front will bring very strong winds to northern
Arizona from Sunday through Monday. Southwest winds gusts from 40
to 50 mph will develop Sunday afternoon. Wind gusts to continue
Sunday night in the favored downslope wind areas from the House
Rock Valley through Doney Park to Springerville.

Faster sustained winds and gusts (to 60 mph) are expected Monday
when the cold front crosses the area, especially across the
northeast quarter of Arizona. Monitor the latest forecasts before
travel.

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM Sunday to 7 AM MST Monday.
A High Wind Watch has also been issued. This High Wind Watch is
in effect from Monday morning through Monday afternoon.

* TIMING...Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon.

* WINDS...Southwest sustained 20 to 30 mph gusts to 45 mph through
  Sunday night. On Monday southwest 30 to 45 mph with gusts to 60
  mph.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make driving
  difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Consider
  securing loose belongings on your property.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph...or
gusts from 40 to 57 mph are expected.
