Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Navasota River above Groesbeck.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Moderate overbank flow is expected, with
  flooding occurring along the left bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:10 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.3
    feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening.
