THE FOLLOWING ARE PRELIMINARY STORM TOTAL PRECIPITATION REPORTS FROM
WESTERN COLORADO AND EASTERN UTAH. THE FIRST VALUE IS RAINFALL OR
WATER AMOUNTS IN SNOW, AND THE SECOND VALUE IS SNOWFALL, WHEN
APPROPRIATE. PRECIPITATION BEGAN OVER THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS LATE
FRIDAY EVENING SPREADING SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE DAY SATURDAY, BEFORE
ENDING LATE SATURDAY EVENING.

SNOW BEGAN FALLING LATE FRIDAY EVENING OVER THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS,
SPREADING SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE DAY SATURDAY AND ENDING LATE
SATURDAY EVENING. THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN COLORADO
GENERALLY RECEIVED 3 TO 7 INCHES OF NEW SNOW, WITH UP TO 9 INCHES IN
AREAS NEAR THE STEAMBOAT SPRINGS SKI RESORT AND RABBIT EARS PASS.
LESSER AMOUNTS FELL ACROSS THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN COLORADO
WITH GENERALLY 2 TO 6 INCHES RECEIVED. ALTHOUGH 9.5 INCHES WAS
REPORTED AT GOTHIC IN NORTH CENTRAL GUNNISON COUNTY.  ACROSS THE
REMIANDER OF THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO, AMOUNTS RANGED FROM ZERO UP TO 2 INCHES.
