...RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING...

In western Colorado...

At the Colorado National Monument, the low temperature this morning
was 22 degrees.  This sets a new record low temperature for April
30, breaking the previous record of 24, set in 1991.

At the Grand Junction Regional Airport, the low was 25 degrees,
setting a new record low, breaking the previous record of 27, set in
2011.

In the Rifle area, the low was 19 degrees, breaking the previous
record of 23, set in 2011.


In eastern Utah...

In the Castle Valley area, the low was 28, tying the record low for
the day, last set in 2011.
