AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL OF HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS EASTERN UTAH AND
WESTERN COLORADO MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY AS DEEP
MONSOONAL MOISTURE SPREADS OVER THE AREA. THE HEAVIEST AND MOST
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WILL BE ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AS A DISTURBANCE
PASSES OVER THE AREA. STORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVING SO LOCALIZED
FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE. NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND CREEK BEDS
COULD FLOW AND CREATE RUNNING WATER ACROSS LOW-LYING ROADS.
LOCALIZED DEBRIS FLOWS OR FALLING ROCKS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE IN
STEEP TERRAIN AREAS SUSCEPTIBLE TO RUNOFF PROBLEMS.
