...ANOTHER STRONG STORM POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL
COLORADO AND SOUTHEAST UTAH FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

ANOTHER STRONG STORM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE WESTERN
GREAT BASIN LATE THIS WEEK WHICH COULD BRING AN EXTENDED PERIOD
OF SNOWFALL TO THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST COLORADO AND
SOUTHEAST UTAH. THIS WOULD BE THE SECOND SIGNIFICANT STORM TO
IMPACT THIS AREA IN AS MANY WEEKS.

THE LOWER ELEVATIONS AND VALLEYS MAY ONCE AGAIN RECEIVE A MIX OF
RAIN AND SNOW INITIALLY WITH PRECIPITATION SWITCHING TO ALL SNOW
WHEN COLDER AIR MOVES INTO THE AREA SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY.
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF HEAVY...WET SNOW ARE POSSIBLE FROM
NEAR BLANDING IN SOUTHEAST UTAH EASTWARD ACROSS CORTEZ...DURANGO
...AND PAGOSA SPRINGS IN SOUTHWEST COLORADO.

WITH PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE THROUGH THE WEEKEND...AND
SNOW OR RAIN AT LOWER ELEVATIONS...IMPACTS MAY BE SIGNIFICANT.
HIGHWAYS THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS COULD BECOME HAZARDOUS TO DRIVE...
AND SLUSHY OR MUDDY CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP AT LOWER ELEVATIONS
NEAR THE FOUR CORNERS.

SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE TRACK AND INTENSITY OF DEVELOPING
STORMS CAN...AND OFTENTIMES DO OCCUR. THEREFORE...MAKE SURE YOU
CHECK YOUR FAVORITE WEATHER SOURCE FOR THE LATEST FORECAST AND
UPDATED INFORMATION REGARDING THIS DEVELOPING STORM.
