PM MDT...

At 504 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 25
miles west of Craig, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning, dime size hail and winds in
excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Craig, Great Divide, Sunbeam, Lay, Maybell, Juniper Springs and
Fortification.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 51 and 105.
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 77 and 119.
 Colorado 318 between mile markers 51 and 60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
