...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN NORTON COUNTY...

At 1234 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southeast
of Beaver City, or 16 miles northeast of Norton, moving east at 50
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Norton, Almena, and Calvert.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for northwestern
Kansas.
