.DISCUSSION...
We`re in the midst of, and will continue to be in, a period of
relatively dry weather with low chances for wetting rains through
the next several days over the region. Although we are expecting
some rain between today and Saturday, the chances for wetting
rains are low and mixing should still be good, at least away from
the coast where onshore flow dominates. Once this system exits,
winds turn more westerly and breezy on Saturday before diminishing
some and turning more southwesterly through early next week as a
much drier airmass arrives. The driest day appears to be likely on
Monday, when RH is forecast to fall into the 20s percent and may
dip into the teens in a few places. The next widespread chance of
rain is forecast for the middle of next week.
