...END OF GROWING SEASON...

The growing season has ended across most of New Hampshire and
Western Maine. For interior locations in the foothills, the average
frost date is Oct 1. It is now 2 weeks past this median last frost
date and most of the zones have already seen a killing freeze.

The National Weather Service in Gray will no longer issue Frost
Advisories or Freeze warnings for the following counties. These
products will resume in the spring.

In New Hampshire...
Coos
Carroll
Grafton
Belknap
Merrimack
Sullivan
Cheshire
Hillsborough

In Western Maine...
Oxford
Franklin
Somorset

Elsewhere in coastal New Hampshire and the southwest coast of Maine,
the National Weather Service will continue to issue Freeze Warnings
and Frost advisories until a hard freeze occurs... or until 2 weeks
after the date of the average fall frost.
