northern New Hampshire and the western Maine mountains...

.TONIGHT...Mostly cloudy this evening then summits in and out of
clouds. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this evening,
then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Some
thunderstorms may produce gusty winds, and small hail. Lows in the
lower 50s. West winds around 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
increasing to around 50 mph with gusts up to 65 mph after midnight.
Chance of rain 50 percent.
.FRIDAY...Summits in and out of clouds. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 50s. West winds around 50 mph with
gusts up to 70 mph becoming northwest and decreasing to around
40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain
50 percent.

50...except in the lower 40s at elevations above 5000 feet. West
winds around 45 mph increasing to around 55 mph after midnight. At
elevations above 5000 feet, west winds around 60 mph increasing to
around 80 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 40 percent.

thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 50s...except in the mid 40s at
elevations above 5000 feet. West winds around 55 mph becoming
