.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Winds will gradually veer to the southeast tomorrow as high pressure
moves east of the region. A coastal trough will help to enhance
the chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms Friday. Onshore
flow will return by Friday afternoon and seas will build. With
this return moisture and warmer temperatures, the development for
sea fog will be possible late Friday as warmer air travels over
the colder shelf waters. The chance for fog and precipitation
will persist into Sunday evening, when the next cold front is
expected to push off the coast.
