Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Southeast Texas
National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
157 PM CDT Mon Mar 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...
An outflow boundary and weakening cold front should drift into
the area late this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be
possible mainly this afternoon and evening in the north and east portions
of Southeast Texas later today. The southerly flow will relax slightly
today but will ramp back up on Wednesday as the next potent storm
system moves across the state. Widespread rainfall with isolated strong
to severe thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday. A Pacific cold
front is expected to move across the area Wednesday night and
Thursday. Warm and dry conditions are expected behind the front Thursday
but a fast moving high pressure system will be east of the area by Friday
morning leading to southerly flow resuming.
