* FLOOD STAGE:    17.0 FEET.
* FORECAST: THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE OUT OF BANKS FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

* THE SAN BERNARD RIVER NEAR SWEENY.
* LATEST STAGE:   11.6 FEET THIS MORNING.
* BANKFULL STAGE: 12.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE:    16.0 FEET.
* FORECAST: THE RIVER IS EXPECTED RISE OUT OF BANKS THIS EVENING.

* THE COLORADO RIVER IN WHARTON.
* LATEST STAGE:   8.2 FEET THIS AFTERNOON.
* BANKFULL STAGE: 20.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE:    39.0 FEET.
* FORECAST: THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE OUT OF BANKS THIS WEEKEND.

PERSONS ARE URGED TO STAY AWAY FROM THE RIVER UNTIL WATER LEVELS RECEDE.

MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID ANY WATER COVERED ROADS AND FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.

LIVESTOCK AND EQUIPMENT SHOULD REMAIN OUT OF THE FLOOD PLAIN FOR THE NEXT FEW
DAYS.
