.DISCUSSION...
Cold and dry air will continue to build into the Carolinas through
early this week. Relative humidity values will drop to less than 30
percent over inland areas on Monday. A light wintry mix of
precipitation is possible late on Wednesday. A reinforcing shot of
chilly, dry Arctic air will arrive behind a cold front Wednesday
night into Thursday with a gradual warming toward seasonable
temperatures expected into next weekend.
