Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
446 AM EST Thu Feb 22 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm and humid conditions will persist through the
remainder of the workweek and likely thru the upcoming weekend.
This the result of Bermuda high pressure dominating the weather
across the eastern Carolinas. Temperatures will run up to 20
degrees above normal for the next 3 to possibly 4 days with
highs near record levels today through Sun. The passage of
an upper level disturbance Sat could produce isolated showers.
However, a cold front will bring a better chance of showers
Sunday night or Monday, with temperatures cooling back toward
normal by late Monday or Tuesday.

Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.

Fog potential for tonight...High.
