Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
401 PM EDT Sat Sep 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Weak high pressure will prevail across the forecast area thru Sunday
maintaining the dry and warm weather. Hurricane Maria is expected to
move northward and remain a couple hundred miles east of
the forecast area at it`s closest approach during the early to
mid week portion of next week. At this point, could see isolated
showers move onshore during next week. A cold front will sweep
across the region and offshore late next week, and in the process
catapulting Maria off to the northeast and finally away from the U.S.
mainland.

Fog potential for tonight...Moderate to High.
