Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
459 AM EDT Fri Apr 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A weakening and lingering cold front may bring a few showers or
a thunderstorm this morning. Otherwise, high pressure offshore
will ridge back to the west and across the area through Sunday.
Daily highs and lows thru Sunday will run 10 to 15 degrees above
normal. Isolated sea breeze convection will be possible today and
again Sunday. The next bonafide chance for convection will occur
late Monday into early Tuesday due to the approach and eventual
passage of a cold front. Weak high pressure will take hold during
the middle of next week before a more substantial low pressure
system brings an increased potential for soaking rainfall
Thursday into Friday.

Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.

Fog potential for tonight...None to Low.
