...Straight Line Wind Damage Confirmed Near Clifton in Hamilton
County Ohio...

The National Weather Service survey team has concluded that
damage from the storms on July 13th near Clifton is a result of
straight line wind damage. Wind speeds were estimated to be 90 to
100 mph.

The survey team is still looking at damage in the Westwood area. Additional
information regarding results of this portion of the survey will
be available later today.

The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to
change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS
Storm Data.
