OCTOBER IS THE HEART OF THE FALL SEASON. COOL TEMPERATURES GENERALLY
PREVAIL WITH A FEW MILDER DAYS EARLY IN THE MONTH AND A SOMEWHAT COLD
START TO THE MORNING AT TIMES BY MONTH`S END. FROST BECOMES QUIET
COMMON WITH A FREEZE LIKELY IN MOST LOCATIONS BEFORE THE END OF THE
MONTH. RAINFALL IS GENERALLY LESS THAN MOST OTHER MONTHS WITH AN
OCCASIONAL THUNDERSTORM WITH THE PASSAGE OF A STRONG COLD FRONT. AN
EARLY SEASON SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE TOWARD THE END OF THE MONTH.

AT COLUMBUS...THE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURE STARTS OUT IN THE
LOWER 70S(71 DEGREES) AND COOLS TO AROUND 60 DEGREES BY MONTH`S END.
NORMAL LOWS START OUT AROUND 50 DEGREES AND FALLS TO THE LOWER
40S(41 DEGREES) BY THE END OF THE MONTH. NORMAL RAINFALL IS 2.61
INCHES WITH AN AVERAGE SNOWFALL OF TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH.

AT CINCINNATI...THE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURE STARTS OUT IN THE
LOWER 70S(72 DEGREES) AND COOLS TO THE LOWER 60S(61 DEGREES) BY
MONTH`S END. NORMAL LOWS START OUT IN THE LOWER 50S(51 DEGREES)
AND COOLS TO THE LOWER 40S(41 DEGREES) BY THE END OF THE MONTH.
NORMAL RAINFALL IS 3.30 INCHES WITH AN AVERAGE SNOWFALL OF FOUR
TENTHS OF AN INCH.
