...Mill Creek Stream Gages to be discontinued due to lack of
funding partner...

Effective September 30, 2017, the U.S. Geological Survey River
gages along the Mill Creek at Kemper Road in Sharonville and Mill
Creek at Glendale-Milford Road in Evendale will lose matching
funding and will be discontinued, unless a local, regional or
state partner is found to co-fund the stream gages with the

These 2 stream gages are utilized in National Weather Service
Flood Warnings for the Mill Creek in Sharonville and Evendale. The
NWS provides flood warnings when flooding along Mill Creek is
expected, based on a combination of this critical river data
combined with rainfall forecasts and observations. Both gages are
equipped with text messaging notification services for those
interested and/or impacted by flooding along Mill Creek.
