...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...

  Wabash River at Vincennes.

  Wabash River at Clinton.

  Wabash River at Terre Haute.

  Wabash River at Covington.

  Wabash River at Montezuma.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...

  Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

  Wabash River at Riverton.

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

  Wabash River at Lafayette.

.Main stem rivers in central and southern Indiana continue to flood
as a result of rainfall of 2 to 4 plus inches that fell last week.
Most creeks and streams have fallen below flood stage, though
several are near bankfull.

Little rainfall and plentiful sunshine is expected through Monday,
which will be conducive to moving water downstream. A potent weather
system is due to move through Tuesday and Wednesday, which may bring
enough rain to slow or reverse the fall of area waterways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/ind.

The next statement should be issued Monday morning by around 1115 AM
EDT /1015 AM CDT/.
