The areas affected include... Coastal waters from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach FL out 20 NM... Waters from St. Augustine to Flagler Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 452 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This thunderstorm was located 11 nm northeast of Ormond-By-the-Sea, moving east at 35 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for northeastern Florida...and the adjacent coastal waters. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Waterspouts are possible with this activity. If a waterspout occurs, move your boat away from it.
