.DISCUSSION...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...AFFECTING AREAS MAINLY
NORTH OF THE MOUNTAIN PARKWAY WILL GRADUALLY COME TO AN END
TODAY. AS THE THREAT OF RAIN DIMINISHES...TEMPERATURES WILL
RESPOND BY CLIMBING TO LEVELS WELL ABOVE NORMAL. HIGHS WILL
AVERAGE IN THE MID 80S THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WITH MANY LOCATIONS
COMING CLOSE TO, OR EVEN REACHING THE 90 DEGREE MARK ON TODAY. THE
THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN TO THE AREA TO
START THE NEW WORKWEEK AS A STRONG STORM SYSTEM BRINGS RAIN AND
VERY GUSTY WINDS OF BETWEEN 30 AND 40 MPH TO PORTIONS OF THE AREA.
