Issued at 1019 AM EDT Wed May 8 2024 Temperatures along the Keys in the low to mid 80s this morning combined with dewpoints in the mid to upper 70s are making for a muggy midweek! Light breezes out of the east to southeast continue, and skies will remain mostly sunny as occasional clouds pass across the forecast area. The forecast is still on track, and no changes are needed at this time. && .MARINE... Issued at 1019 AM EDT Wed May 8 2024 High pressure over the western North Atlantic will maintain moderate to occasionally fresh east to southeast breezes through Thursday night. Breezes will slacken and veer to the south and southwest Friday into the weekend, as the high shifts southward over the western Atlantic, and a weak frontal boundary stalls north of the Florida Keys coastal waters. && .AVIATION... (15Z TAFS) Issued at 1019 AM EDT Wed May 8 2024 VFR and dry conditions will prevail at both EYW and MTH today. Near surface winds will be out of the east to southeast at 10 to 15 knots, increasing to near 15 knots with occasional gusts up to near 20 knots by later this evening. && .CLIMATE...
