AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

OVER THE PAST 30 DAYS...ONE MAJOR LONGED DURATION HEAVY RAIN
EVENT RESULTED IN WIDESPREAD 2 TO 4 INCHES WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS
AROUND 5 INCHES. THIS PRECIPITATION HAS RESULTED IN KEEPING
DROUGHT CONDITIONS FROM DEVELOPING ACROSS THE REGION.
TEMPERATURES OVER THE PAST MONTH HAVE VARIED FROM ABOVE TO BELOW
NORMAL.

THE LATEST 6 TO 10 DAY OUTLOOK COVERING APRIL 26TH THROUGH APRIL
30TH...CALLS FOR BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES ACROSS ALL OF WESTERN
AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION IS FORECAST
FOR THE SAME TIME PERIOD.

THE LATEST 8 TO 14 DAY OUTLOOK COVERING APRIL 28TH THROUGH MAY 4TH
CALLS FOR BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND ABOVE NORMAL
PRECIPITATION FOR ALL OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

ACCORDING TO THE CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER...THE LATEST OUTLOOK
FOR MAY...HAS EQUAL CHANCES OF ABOVE...BELOW OR NEAR NORMAL
TEMPERATURES ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THE
PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK FOR MAY FAVORS HIGHER CHANCES FOR ABOVE
NORMAL PRECIPITATION ACROSS AREAS ALONG AND SOUTHWEST OF A
RUSHVILLE IN SHERIDAN COUNTY TO BROKEN BOW IN CUSTER COUNTY LINE.
NORTHEAST OF THIS LINE IS EQUAL CHANCES OF ABOVE...BELOW OR NEAR
NORMAL PRECIPITATION.

THE LATEST 3 MONTH OUTLOOK FOR MAY...JUNE AND JULY...CALLS FOR
EQUAL CHANCES FOR ABOVE...BELOW OR NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR
ALL WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA BUT A NARROW STRIP ALONG
THE NEBRASKA/SOUTH DAKOTA BORDER...WHERE ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES ARE FAVORED. THE PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK FOR THE PERIOD
CALLS FOR HIGH CHANCES FOR ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION WEST OF A
HYANNIS TO BROKEN BOW LINE. EAST OF THIS LINE...THE FORECAST IS
FOR EQUAL CHANCES FOR ABOVE...BELOW OR NEAR NORMAL PRECIPITATION.

SINCE NO DROUGHT CONDITIONS ARE OCCURRING IN THE OUTLOOK
AREA...AN ABRIDGED DROUGHT INFORMATION STATEMENT IS ISSUED. WHEN
