Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure 29.90 inches over central Ohio will move
to eastern Ohio this evening and become nearly stationary and gradually
dissipate through Thursday. High pressure 30.20 inches will move
across the lake Friday and Saturday. A cold front will stall just
north of Lake Erie by Saturday night. Low pressure 29.50 inches
will develop on the front over the western lakes and move into
Ontario on Sunday pulling the cold front across Lake Erie late
Sunday. A trough of low pressure 29.90 inches will linger over the
eastern lakes on Monday.

patchy drizzle early, then a chance of rain with patchy drizzle
from late evening on. Patchy fog from late evening on. Waves 5 to
8 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southeast
5 to 15 knots. A chance of rain and drizzle in the morning. Waves
3 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...South winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south. Waves
1 foot or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest.

.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to
