For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.40 inches will track from southern Missouri today
to near Saginaw Bay by Tuesday morning. Easterly gales are expected
over the north half of Lake Huron this afternoon and evening as this
system approaches. Wind will diminish Monday night as the low moves
through central portions of the the lake. Moderate northwest wind
will trail the system Tuesday followed by weak high pressure
Wednesday.

30 knots in the afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Patchy fog in
the late morning and early afternoon. Rain and snow showers. Snow
may be heavy at times late in the afternoon. Waves 8 to 12 feet.
Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots after
midnight. A chance of snow showers in the evening. Showers. Snow
showers likely early in the morning. Snow may be heavy at times
early in the evening. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally
around 15 feet.
.TUESDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots
increasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales early in
the afternoon. Snow showers likely and showers in the morning...
then a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Waves 6 to
9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales in the late evening and overnight. A chance of snow showers
early in the evening. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally

.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to
10 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in the
afternoon.
.THURSDAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots
in the late morning and early afternoon...then veering to the
south early in the evening increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the
late evening and early morning. Waves 2 feet or less building to

late evening and early morning. A chance of rain and snow showers
