For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An active period of marine weather is expected for the
rest of this week and through the weekend. Some light to moderate
wind and snow showers will hang around through this evening. A
stronger front will approach and produce increased southwest wind
Friday into Friday night, possibly near gales. This front will stall
as a larger low pressure center moves in Friday night and Saturday
at 29.60 inches. This system will move quickly through the region by
Saturday night followed by yet another front later Sunday.

.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then veering to
the north after midnight. A chance of snow showers in the
evening...then snow showers likely after midnight. Waves 6 to
9 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late morning and
afternoon. Snow showers likely in the morning...then a chance of

6 feet in the late morning and afternoon. Waves occasionally
around 8 feet.
