For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.50 inches, will develop along a frontal
boundary over Lake Superior tonight and will help to sustain mild
southwest wind over marine areas through Thursday. The low then
moves east and pulls the cold front through the Great Lakes Thursday
night. This will be followed by moderate northwest wind on Friday.
High pressure then returns briefly Friday night and Saturday.

.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to

15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late evening and
overnight.
.FRIDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Gusts to 30 knots early in
the morning.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots.
.SATURDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the west late
in the evening. Snow showers likely late in the afternoon.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots early in the evening...then backing to the southeast in
the late evening and early morning. A chance of snow showers
until early morning.
.MONDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots
until early evening...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots in the
late evening and early morning. A chance of snow showers early in
the morning...then snow showers likely. Showers likely early in
the evening.

morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the
afternoon.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming
northwest 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late
evening and early morning...then increasing to 20 to 25 knots
with gusts to 30 knots after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building
to 4 to 6 feet after midnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late
morning and afternoon. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally
around 10 feet.

10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming
