For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An active period of marine weather is expected for the
rest of this week and through the weekend. A weak front will move
through the region today producing just light to moderate wind and
an increase in snow showers through tonight. A stronger front will
approach and produce increased southwest wind Friday into Friday
night, possibly near gales. This front will stall as a larger low
pressure center moves in Friday night and Saturday at 29.60 inches.
This system will move quickly through the region by Saturday night
followed by yet another front later Sunday.
