FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 28.9 inches over western Hudson Bay
will steer a cold front across Lake Michigan by early evening.
Weak high pressure ridging of 29.9 inches will move across the
lake late tonight. Low pressure of 29.6 inches will take shape
over the northern Great Lakes Monday and phase with another low
over the Ohio Valley, resulting in a low of 29.1 inches just north
of Lake Huron by late Monday night. This system will steer a
strong cold front over the lake by early Tuesday morning. The low
will weaken as it shifts slowly east Tuesday night. Yet another
low pressure of 29.6 inches will drop from Canada into the western
Lakes during midweek, followed by another low of 29.5 inches late
in the week.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt
early this evening and then becoming west late this evening.
Rain likely through mid evening, then a slight chance of rain.
Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft gradually subsiding to 1 to
3 ft late.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt. Slight chance of rain in
the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to 25
kt late in the evening, then increasing to 30 kt after midnight.
Showers. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8
ft.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt.
Showers. Waves building to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 40 kt diminishing to 30 kt
overnight. Chance of rain showers. Waves 8 to 11 ft occasionally
to 14 ft subsiding to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Waves subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 kt veering to east. Waves
subsiding to 1 to 3 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt becoming south. Waves
building to 3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY...West winds to 30 kt becoming southwest. Chance of rain

this afternoon, then easing to 15 to 25 kt this evening and then
to 10 to 20 kt after midnight. Rain. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally
to 9 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft after midnight.
.MONDAY...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northwest 10 to 15 kt
by late afternoon. Chance of rain, mainly in the morning. Waves 2
to 4 ft subsiding to 1 to 3 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 kt becoming northwest to 30
kt by late evening. Showers likely. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 5
to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt
in the afternoon. Showers. Waves building to 8 to 12 ft
occasionally to 16 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 30 kt.
