FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure ridging averaging 30.1 inches will
quickly pass over the western Great Lakes tonight. Meanwhile, low
of 29.8 inches will move southeast to northern Illinois Monday
afternoon, then continue east to Lake Ontario Monday night
deepening to 29.6 inches. The low will continue deepening to 29.3
inches near Lake Erie Tuesday. High pressure of 30.1 inches will
spread across the western Great Lakes Wednesday. A low pressure
trough averaging 29.7 inches will cross Lake Michigan Wednesday
night into early Thursday.

.MONDAY...South winds 10 to 20 kt veering to west. Snow. Waves
2 to 4 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 kt becoming north gales to
40 kt. Snow showers. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft
building to 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft.
.TUESDAY...North gales to 40 kt diminishing to gales to 35 kt.
Freezing spray. Scattered snow showers. Waves 8 to 12 ft
occasionally to 16 ft subsiding to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to
13 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt. Freezing spray in the
evening. Scattered snow showers in the evening. Waves 5 to 8 ft

.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west. Chance of

occasionally to 21 ft.
