FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH AVERAGING 29.7 INCHES WHICH
STRETCHES FROM SOUTHEAST ONTARIO THROUGH OKLAHOMA WILL CONTINUE
NORTHEAST THROUGH TONIGHT. A 29.5 INCH LOW OVER SOUTHERN MANITOBA
WILL WEAKEN TO 29.8 INCHES AS IT WILL MOVE OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO
THIS EVENING. ITS COLD FRONT WILL PASS OVER THE LAKE LATE THIS
AFTERNOON OR EARLY THIS EVENING AS WELL. A 30.8 HIGH SPREADS OVER
THE PLAINS TONIGHT AND REACHES THE LAKE FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THE
CENTER OF THE HIGH WILL PUSH EAST TO NEW ENGLAND BY SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...BUT A RIDGE AXIS WILL STILL EXTEND WEST ACROSS THE
GREAT LAKES...KEEPING HIGH PRESSURE AS THE DOMINANT FEATURE OVER
THE LAKES INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.7 INCHES IS
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS SUNDAY NIGHT AND THE
LOW MAY TRACK ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN TUESDAY AFTERNOON OR EVENING.
