WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.6 INCHES OVER SOUTHERN QUEBEC WILL
CONTINUE TO LIFT TO THE NORTHEAST TODAY...AS A BROAD AREA OF
HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.1 INCHES SPREADS EAST FROM THE PLAINS INTO THE
MIDWEST. THIS HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL CONTINUE TO DRIFT SLOWLY
EAST ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY AND SOUTHERN GREAT LAKES REGION OVER
THE NEXT TWO DAYS...STRENGTHENING A BIT TO 30.2 INCHES OVER
PENNSYLVANIA BY EARLY FRIDAY. A SERIES OF RELATIVELY WEAK LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE CANADIAN PRAIRIES TO NEAR
HUDSON BAY DURING THE PERIOD...WHILE RIDGING REMAINS ACROSS THE
LAKES AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.3 INCHES MOVES OFF OF THE NEW ENGLAND
COAST SATURDAY.
