FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS....A large area of high pressure averaging 30.4 inches
centered across the Great Lakes will shift to the Ohio Valley and
New England through midweek. A trough of low pressure averaging
29.7 inches is expected to develop over the western Plains and
southern Canada Tuesday. The trough and an associated cold front
are expected to push across Lake Michigan on Wednesday, and then
to the eastern Great Lakes and Quebec by Thursday. High pressure
averaging 30.3 inches is then expected to move across the Great
Lakes through the end of the work week.

.TUESDAY...South winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt. Slight
chance of rain in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 6 to
9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...South gales to 35 kt becoming southwest. Rain
likely in the evening...then rain overnight. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft building to 8 to 11 ft occasionally to
14 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt becoming west. Rain likely
in the morning. Waves 8 to 11 ft occasionally to 14 ft subsiding
to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Chance of rain in
the evening. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.THURSDAY...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt in
the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to
3 to 5 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming south to
30 kt overnight. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft.
