WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A WEAK RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.1 INCHES ACROSS
WISCONSIN AND ILLINOIS WILL HOLD IN PLACE THROUGH AFTERNOON BEFORE
FADING. MEANWHILE...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.7 INCHES WILL MOVE
SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS TODAY AND TO THE MID
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY LATE TONIGHT WHILE SLOWLY WEAKENING. STOUT HIGH
PRESSURE OF 30.8 INCHES WILL BUILD ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT REACHING THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY BY
MIDDAY FRIDAY. THIS HIGH WILL SLOWLY MOVE EAST DURING THE WEEKEND.
A COLD FRONT STEMMING FROM A LOW PRESSURE WELL TO THE NORTH OF THE
GREAT LAKES WILL CROSS THE LAKE LATE IN THE WEEKEND.
