For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low will pass by to the north of the lake
this evening...with a cold front dropping across the lake tonight. A
weak ridge of high pressure averaging 30.0 inches will move across
the lake Monday. Another 29.6 inch low will drop across the lower
Great Lakes Tuesday. 30.1 inch high pressure will build briefly
across the lower lakes Wednesday night and Thursday.

.TONIGHT...West winds to 30 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. Scattered snow showers through the
early overnight. Waves 5 to 9 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet.
Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming east and
diminishing to 10 knots or less in the afternoon. Scattered snow
showers early. Scattered snow showers late. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Snow. Waves 1 to
3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to
20 knots. Snow. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest.
Lake effect snow. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to
20 knots. Lake effect snow showers. Waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding
to 2 to 4 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south. A chance of

showers in the morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to
4 feet.
