For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch ridge axis will drift across the lake and
to New England through this evening. A weakening 29.8 inch trough
will then wash out as it approaches the lower Great Lakes from
the west on Wednesday. Another 29.6 inch low over the Deep South
will track northeastward to near Lake Erie and deepen to 29.1
inches by later Thursday. This low will begin to fill Thursday
night, while pushing a cold front across the Lake. A secondary
cold front will pass across the Lake Friday night.

.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest.
Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms. A chance of
showers late. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest. Waves
2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...South winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east. A
chance of showers in the evening, then showers likely overnight.
Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots becoming south. Showers
with a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. Occasional showers with a chance
of thunderstorms during the day, then showers likely Friday
night. Waves 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. Showers likely during the day. Waves 3 to 6 feet
subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.

and increasing to 15 to 20 knots. A chance of showers in the

gales. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 3 to 6 feet
building to 7 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally around 13 feet.

diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. Occasional showers with a chance
of thunderstorms during the day, then occasional showers Friday
night. Waves 5 to 8 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves
occasionally around 10 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 25 knots. Showers likely during the
day, then a chance of showers Saturday night. Waves 5 to 8 feet
subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
