A storm system will move down the California coast  tonight and over
the weekend bringing wetting rains to the  district. The passing
storm will usher in gusty southerly winds  tonight and Saturday.
Additionally, thunderstorms and lower snow  levels will also develop
Saturday. High pressure returns on Monday kicking off a warming and
drying trend.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

THUNDERSTORMS THIS WEEKEND...

A storm system will move through the area this weekend. Rainfall
totals between 0.50 and 1.50 inches are expected, except 1.50 to
3.00 inches in the favored mountains and foothills. Minor flooding
is expected, with a low risk of significant flooding. There is a
10 to 20 percent chance of thunderstorms, especially Saturday Night
through Sunday, when locally  gusty winds, small hail, and brief
heavy rain is possible. Gusty south  winds are also expected on
Saturday, turning westerly on Sunday. Warmer  and drier conditions
will follow Monday through the rest of next week.
