For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure trough of 29.8 inches will cross Lake
Superior today with high pressure of 30.0 inches drifting across
the region tonight. The high will drift to the lower Great Lakes
on Friday as low pressure of 29.6 inches develops over the central
Plains. The low will track to the Upper Mississippi River Valley
by Saturday afternoon and cross the Great Lakes Saturday night
into Sunday. Following the low, a High pressure ridge of 30.2
inches will build over the Upper Great Lakes on Monday.
