For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure system of 30.8 inches over Iowa and
southern Minnesota this afternoon will extend a 30.6 inch ridge
across Lake Superior tonight as it drifts to the Ohio River Valley
by Sunday and New England by Sunday night. A 30.2 inch trough
over the northern Plains Sunday afternoon will consolidate into a
low over the western Great Lakes by Monday morning and then drift
to the eastern Great Lakes through Tuesday. A 30.7 inch high over
the central Plains on Tuesday will extend a 30.5 inch ridge
across Lake Superior Tuesday night before the high reaches the
Ohio River Valley Wednesday night. A 29.9 inch trough will stretch
west to east across far northern Ontario Wednesday and Thursday.
